Still a thing of beauty





Ok... perhaps beauty isn't quite the right word. It's a black on black 1991 SHO plus. The plus package was a special option in 1991 that included things like the side badges, chrome around the windows, rear spoiler etc. A black on black plus is REALLY rare, and I managed to pick it up for $400 a couple weeks ago and drove it home. 121,000 miles, runs/drives great, full black interior is in good shape, and after $25 in cleaning supplies and about 16 hours of wetsanding and compounding it looks a tad better:

It's a restoration project in process, but in the meantime my $400 car isn't such a turd after all
