I called Mirko Racing today. They say splitters for older tours may be made if enoungh intrest is shown(as in 20-30 requests) so please call them at 408-776-0073 DO IT TODAY!!!!!

i dont think this is going to happen because everyone will be getting the pre 98 se/svt front bumper from micah. then if they want a splitter it will be the one for the svt. sorry.

I would prefer a splitter over an SVT-clone bumper, but with limited funding, and this being my last priority, Mirko would have to hang onto that piece for a while before I'd take it off their hands.

Hey Guys not everybody is getting that front end from micah. Besides if i had wanted a 98+ model I would have bought one initially.
So help give the rest of us 95-97 owners a choice. If you are interested in a Supertouring look like I am you need a front splitter like Mirko's. There is no other!

Tuning Zubehor has Mk1 Mondeo splitters. I think they we should be able to fit them. I'm going to bet $1 Million that 20-30 pre-98 won't go for the Mirko. Too many where Micah needed 10.

No wonder its so hard to get any splitters/body kits/spoilers/wings for our cars. I Guess We Are Not That Intrested! In Talking yes in buying no.
I may get my own made in Carbonfiber locally.

Well facts are facts. If enough people then sweet. I'd do my own thing though. I wonder how many were required for the 98+. I don't think 20-30 bought them! Do they really want to make them?

They want to make money and they need to make a minimum of parts to differ costs and make a profit its that simple . For mirko in perticular their market is really for SVT's so they do not need to make a early model Contour splitter. Its just in tis case demand and then supply.

What does the mirko spliltter look like for the pre 98?? Are they as nice as the 98's cuz the way the bumpers are shaped wouldn't it look completely different. The pre 98 bumpers dip inward while the 98 csvt goes straight down.

Hey, if you get my bumper then you can fit the mirko. I am not trying to look like a 98 just giving us pre 98's a chance for a ground effects kit.
