Welcome to the best Contour site going! A thought I had was, if the mileage is rather high, be skeptical of the clutch. People who buy CSVT's don't usually buy them to drive like grandma. It's an expensive repair from what I've gathered from posts here. Also, the front wheel bearings seem to be a weak link. If you drive one and hear any moaning from the front, it's likely the wheel bearings. Can be modreately expensive to fix as they're pressed in and not that easy to change unless you have a press.
