LOL. However, as for scanning, not sure if Quebec has Autozones or Advance Autos. You might want to post a "help needed" in the Eastern Canada forum, just in case there might be a CEGer nearby who has a scanner who can help you. Some of the Canadian CEGers are pretty sharp .
And just to round off the acronyms, EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation), DPFR (Differential Pressure Feedback EGR). Good luck.
