Ford has a new part number for the 3.0 Cylinder Head bolts. The old was 4F1Z-6065-AA, new is 4F1Z-6065-AB. The new part number corresponds to 2005+ Freestyle and 500, not sure what the change is, if any.
Actual bolt engineering part number did not change. The service part number (4th digit is always Z) changed to reflect packaging change:
4F1Z-6065-AA = package qty of 1
4F1Z-6065-AB = package qty of 8
So I only need to order QTY 2 of -AB for a total of 16 bolts?
whats the answer on this question?
on team fordparts it says this
4F1Z6065AB $2.71 $0.00 $2.71
Engine - Cylinder head & valves - Bolt
BOLT, Freestyle - 3.0L 2005
$2.71 is kinda cheap for 8 bolts

$2.71 for a set sounds too cheap since FelPro's are like $15 ea. set. But the part number is for 8, not one.

I don't see anything that states qty of 8.

I do, and from a reliable source too.

Well, I ordered 16, so I guess we will see. If Swazo is correct, I may have a few too many

In my experiences, Ford prices the parts individually, but when you buy them they come in bags of say 5 or 6 and your charged for how many they come packaged with.
