I just had my EGR ports cleaned and now the CEL has popped back on saying EGR excessive flow again. Any suggestions Ray?

Excessive, I would look at the DPFE, but test the EGR itself, first.

(start the car, and remove the green vacuum hose from the top of the EGR. suck on the nipple on the egr and see if the car stumbles.. it should if your egr is good...) If it is good, I would look at the DPFE below and to the firewall. EGR failure is RARE (almost never)

I had my mechanic look at it when he did my brakes. He said the valve looked good, but the ports were clogged with carbon. He said he cleaned them out and reset the computor and I had no problems for about a week, it still runs great. I'm going to probably put it on Ebay next week.

well.. clogged ports would more likely cause insufficient flow..

Good luck on the EBAY sale... I'd love to grab it from you, but the fact is we are strapped!!!!

hey check into the EGR Vacuum Solenoid , just cause the code say that the EGR excessive flow or insufficent flow ,doesnt mean its the EGR valve itself , i checked into mine cause today i took my EGR valve back and it was only 2 Months old and i had the code insufficent flow and they told me that , that doesnt mean its the EGR valve messing up then i said something about the EGR Vacuum Solenoid and they said that could be the problem , so i bought it for $26.00 and car runs like new , very nice idle an no hesitation like its gettin starved from gas, but hope this helps
