I do not mean to be redundant but I have been
reading all of the posts on the subject and I am confussed. Do the square fog lights in a '00 Mystique take the 885 bulbs as well?? When buying new low beam lights, wich do not work all that well, which are the best to purchase for the least amount?? I appreciate any help!! I just can not find a simple strait answer!! Peace to all that respond!!

Yes, the Mystique OE lights take the 885 bulb...just like the Contour.

Actually the OE headlight bulb # is 893 and the #885 is the "upgrade", which is 50 watts in power instead of the OE 38 watts of power but I know what you meant though As far as your low beam question I'd try the new Sylvania "silver star" when they come out. I talked to the lady at Sylvania and she said they would be out by the end of November. She mentioned Advanced Auto and Autozone, but I'd say any auto parts store that carries Sylvania would either have them or be able to get them for you, heres the website for them www.sylvania.com and then go to automotive lighting and then click over to SIlverStar lighting
