I like the new commercial with the hottie in the blue knit top!

The Lions are a joke - how, tell me, how, can they not get a decent coach and some decent players - I mean College football is churning out dozens upon dozens of QB's and other players a year - but you NEVER see these guys get picked up - hell,, I bet you could go out there and draft someone like Troy Smith, for the Lions and turn this pile of idiots into a team worth a sh!t.

Harrington will go to a diff team and Be decent!

A horrible line cuases play like hes showing. Look at Farve one of the best in the NFL and with no line you end up looking like you Never plaied football in your life.

Millen is a Joke! they need to lose every game from here out and hope that texas wins a few to get Troy smith or Lienert...

Harrington sucks but he is not the complete problem.

The offensive line does not give Harrington any time to throw the ball.

Also, as stated, the coaching and play calling is horrible.

Has anyone noticed that whenever Joey does actually get the ball off and the received actually DOES catch the ball that the defense is right there on top of the recveiver. Anyone know the stats on our after catch yardage? I'm willing to bet its pretty low.

Anyways there need to be some major changes in the Lions organization and it needs to start at the very top with Matt Millen. Then Mooch. Then the Offensive coordinators. Then everyone on the offensive line. Then Joey. Then the wide receivers.

Then and only then will the Lions start to look like an NFL team and not some Pop Warner football team. I've seen better High School teams down here in Oklahoma!

Let's start back in 2001... we've had the Marty regime and the Mooch regime since then. The Lions have had Ty Detmer, Charlie Batch, Mike McMahon, Joey Harrington and Jeff Garcia all start games at QB since then. They've had RB's like James Stewart, Aveion Cason, Reuben Droughns, Lamont Warren, Kevin Jones, Artose Pinner, Shawn Bryson and Olandis Gary see playing time. They've had WR's such as Bill Schroeder, Mike Williams, Roy Williams, Charles Rogers, Reggie Swinton, Scotty Anderson, Kevin Johnson, and too many more to remember all see a decent number of snaps. What's been the one constant throughout? The f**king West Coast Offense. It's a goddamned joke. There's only been one guy who's been able to run it with any kind of success in the NFL and his name sure as s**t isn't Marty or Mooch. Atlanta flirted with running it but they were smart enough to realize that their QB was better suited for another scheme, just like I believe Harrington is.

Mariucci lost control of this team a long time ago. You've got a defense that has no confidence in the offense. Your offense has no faith in their QB, the offensive scheme, or the coaching staff. You've got a top 15 RB in Jones that carries the ball 4 f**king times the entire game. You've got a trio of recievers that have separated themselves from the rest of the team. It's complete chaos.

What Mariucci did to him on Thursday was despicable. There was NO reason to pull him other than to make him a scapegoat on national TV. If Garcia wasn't healthy enough to start, how the f**k did he suddenly cure himself 6 minutes into the 2nd quarter? I'm far from a Joey apologist, but he's the least of this team's problems. The coaching staff needs to be behind their starting QB 100% and I don't think they ever have been. This town thrives on the QB controversy. How many saviors have we all seen come in here and be heralded the Next Great Thing? Let's run down the list of a few from the past 25 years:

People in this town go apes**t if there isn't some battle for that spot, and I think it spills over to the coaches like some kind of flu.

Mariucci took the fall today and if there was any justice, Millen would be packing his f**king bags as well.

Garcia was just named starting QB for this Sunday, but before this I predicted that they'd win and I'm sticking to it

They need to play Joey these last 5 games. Their season is over and they need to figure out if they are going to keep him around next year or dump him. I guess maybe they've already made up their minds. But with who is calling the plays this week, is it a coincidence that Joey had a couple great games with him calling the plays??? Hmm...

Well, heres my take on whats gone down in the past few days. Dre' Bly cracked Joey on the NFL network for "not being the guy". Then he apologized to his team and then Jeuron named Garcia his starter, huh, I guess thats that! I feel Dre' spoke for ALOT of people in the lockeroom and its refreshing to hear an athlete speak his mind instead of cliches'
