It's called car shows... :p It's for looks! Not performance... why the hell was that comment/opinion(??) necessary? If I want a performance car, I wouldn't get a Porsche Boxster either... that's a waste of money. So don't get up saying crap like that on my stuff, and I won't say anything about yours...  I won't elaborate why, but when you tread on me, your gonna get stomped. Pardon the explosion... EDIT: OK, I flew off the handle with that one. I know it's your opinion, but when some says that something is a waste of money without elaborating, that pisses me off. Like that Sprialmax and most infomercial stuff is a waste just because there is not much fact to it.

I mean, a damn entire cf hood for a Civic is only $500! And driving a Boxster gets me tons of hot chicks, I don't think your cf mirrors will do the same for you Oh, and I came in 2nd in the PCA race last weekend, 1.3s behind a 2001 911TT, not bad for a non-performance car!

The reason a carbon hood for a civic is so cheap is because it is made in a factory and they sell bulk quantities of them. These mirrors I made for steve were hand laid real carbon fiber and had about 40 hrs of labor invested. Please don't bash someone for makingtheir car stand out and be different than every other svt on this board. I have taken Steve as my sponsored car and will be doing some more custom work for his car as my display for my carbon fiber business Carbon Concepts Custom work is not cheap but when you take your car out to a show and it does not look like the other 5 SVT contours next to you it is worth while. I will be doing lots more custom stuff for the Contour over this off season and will be offering them for sale starting in Jan/Feb including carbon fiber lower valances, carbon fiber finished factory spoilers, engine compartment accessories etc.

Wow, that's all I can say! Great mod, A HELL OF A LOT BETTER than the cheap looking APC mirrors. How much would they be for the Focus, if they have them?
