Read on to the part to where they talk about the microprocessor and tinkering with it. The other fellow CEGer (I can't remember his screename) said he read in a magazine (maybe Popular Mechanics? I'm getting old ) about fuel tanks and I remember reading an article some years ago about either GM or Ford who got complaints from their customers about bad gas mileage and they reprogrammed the computers and the complaints were reduced significantly.
