OP TheRock249 Veteran CEG\'er T Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 625 Lexington, KY	ive had difficulty lately whenever i try to download an application. It has happened when i downloaded iTunes, as well as many other programs. I can download the whole file, but when i try to open the installer, i get this message: if i click ok on that window...it just does nothing, doesnt run the program at all. I was thinking theres some type of problem with the installshield program, but im not sure of what to do. Im trying to install the Konfabulator program for the desktop weather, and this is really bugging me. I'm not certain how to fix it (and I'm on my Mac on campus right now, so no tinkering with my own system at home to try ), but at least you know what the problem is ... I tried to follow up on it by using the guys email, but didnt seem to work... Go to Computer Management and then Services and Applications then Services and scroll down to Windows Installer and check to make sure the Startup type is not set to Disabled. Also try re-installing the InstallShield software, as stated in the third link from 98 SE. Here's the message im getting when trying to install iTunes... *i think i might have erased a folder titled "Temp" a long time ago. After searching all those google sites, could this be the problem?
