Been a little busy with the paint cans spraying my dash plastics the same colour as the outside of the car, what do you think?

This is the car

I like it! It looks pretty cool, the car looks quite nice in general as well!

I'm amused that you RHD people have to reach so far to shift the most common gears (1, 2, 3, 4). You'd think they would make the gearshift symmetrical to LHD cars, but I guess that would be too much work to reconstruct the tranny.

Looking good! Few color combinations can pull off the 'painted dash' look and get away with it - yours is one.

And as always, it's a Mondy hatchback, so ...

I hadn't realized that they were that way, that would be a pain in the booty!

Yeah, fifth gear must be jabbing you in the leg.

The panels look great, btw.

I think I want your trip computer

But yes, I want to do that to mine also (since the previous owner painted it all white...)

That's the trip computer people have been talking about (like I just did)...

I'm going to attempt to put one in my SVT when I get to Germany.

Do y'all see the radio remote control stalk on the column under the turn signals? What about the hieght-adjustable headlight switch to the left of the main headlight switch? More things we never saw... Adj. headlights are amusing for a couple minutes at least.

Fifth gear wouldn't jab RHD drivers in the leg any more than 1st gear would be in LHD cars ...

Granted, it is your clutch leg in RHD, but not that big a difference.

The trip computers are easy to put in and its another toy to play with
This was just a basic spec car when i bought it 2 years ago and it has just about all the extra toys fitted now

It also has a roof console inside that came from a english police cruser

And i have this in my boot

so does that mean that trans on cars that built for England only 1st gear is next to the leg? while cars that are global platform 5th gear is near the leg?
