Awesome explanation! You've proven yourself to be not just 99% ignorant, but now 100%! Great job! ]

Evidently it's important enough to you, to call everyone in this thread out as a whole, and tell them they don't know anything about the hip-hop culture, in which you so adamantly understand, but won't backup your own finger-pointing.

Nice try at making a mockery of what I've said. You once again have put your foot in your mouth.

look, mark, it doesn't matter to me who you like or what type of music you like. it shouldn't really matter to you whether i approve of it or explain my view of it either. as long as it's entertaining and enjoyable to you the rest doesn't matter right?
at a high level i've seen hip hop music go from a hobby to a commodity. there is a place in between where good music is still made but very little of it gets the type of promotion that people like 50, kanye, jay z, (insert your favorite platinum artist) get. there's a place for that, but the people who run the industry aren't interested in integrity and message, just sales.
that's dissapointing because they know the large part of their sales come from artist who aren't promoting a realistic, uplifting, positive view of life. i haven't even seen artist like the roots, or little brother mentioned in this thread.
lol. there, i've said more than i wanted to. i'm off to listen to tears for fears now. later.
I never mentioned what kinds of music I listen to, or which rappers I care and don't care for. Yes, I AM calling you out, as you seem to know so much about what everyone else in here know so little. You haven't explained yourself, which is all I've asked from you. If you didn't want to answer that question, maybe you shouldn't have been so quick to judge where everyone on here comes from.
