lol @ uneducated assumption. my statement is based on opinion, mark. plus the fact that i've been here much longer than you and have seen these threads previously and this is a contour enthusiast board and not a hip hop discussion board.

in addition to the above, 95% of the replies in this thread alone are evidence that even though some people have been exposed to rap, most still have little understanding about hip hop music/culture in general. so as i said before...

Actually, I bought my car the day after your registration date. I used to lurk on the boards until I registered until my current name. There have been enough newbies since that time, that it's not a matter of who's been here longer. I don't think many of the people posting in this thread have been here that long.

Anywho, I'm hoping that you can enlighten us as to what the hip-hop culture is truely about. Or is it some secret that I can't know about, or won't understand? Orrrrrr, is it that you really don't know, yourself? Coming off half-assed doesn't do much for your credability, whether it be a Performance Forum, or the Common Interest Forum. Also, although this is a Contour message board, it doesn't mean that Contours are EVERYONE'S lives. People lead very different lifestyles out of CEG. Who are you to label who DOES and who DOESN'T have any understanding of hip-hop "culture?"
