good point. a fair amount of the music i listen to is older than the vast majority of ceg'ers including but not limited too some seriously old country and yet i don't listen to john denver or hall and oates. i have listened to rap in the past (mid-late 90's) and again in 2001 and that is what i base my opinion on. most of it is just crap. some of it is pretty ok and one or two are actually good tunes but most of it is a bunch of overstuffed wanna be gangsters creating drama so that they can whine cry moan and complain about how the system screwed them or how they are going to mistreat people and women because it is what they feel like doing. so no, my opinion is not based upon what i see sitting in my upper middle class home(which i don't have) in my white neighborhood (which i do not live in) while sipping my earl grey tea and reading the wall street journal. but if you wanna ignore the facts and continue spouting this tripe then go ahead. you know what they say about ignorance being bliss.
