That's from what I mentioned about the white balance, look at the asphalt in the first two pics, it's the exact same asphalt, but it's darker in the Zaino pic because the white balance on the camera adjusted because of some difference in the overall picture. I'm telling you there's no color difference in person except possibly a slight difference in metallic flake look.

I wish I'd thought to turn off the stupid auto balance, but this is as exactly similar a comparison as you will ever get. The position of the sun doesn't matter a lick. The difference between two cars five feet apart at a distance of a few thousand miles from the light source ain't even close to significant.

Thanks for the equal props though! smile

I use a combination of Zymol and Meguiar's. It looks damn clean. Here's what I use:

Castrol car wash
Meguiar's Gold Class wheel cleaner
Meguiar's Clear Coat Scrub
Zymol Cleaner Wax
Meguiar's ScratchX (sometimes) or NuFinish
Meguiar's Gold Class (liquid)
Stoner Invisible Glass
Meguiar's Endurance High Gloss Tire Gel
Meguiar's Mirror Glaze Final Inspection

I use The Absorber to mop up the water and some 100% cotton towels to dry.

A comment on Stoner Invisible Glass -- this stuff works better than anything I have ever seen!

And from past experience, I also like these products:

Mother's Showtime Detailing Spray
Meguiar's Step 1 Deep Crystal Wax
3M Swirl Mark Remover
EagleOne A2Z Wheel Cleaner
Castrol SuperClean Wheel Cleaner

ok, now that we have had this debate about which one is better, who really cares? ya i want some zaino, but too lazy to do the 827314092837421908374 step process. then again, so is meguiar's. so, after all is said and done. after that many steps, i don't care if you used your poop to wax your car, it better look that good. after all, you did just spend who knows how many countless hours on it. just my 2 cents...

You've got it exatly right, and the ones who would care are the ones who think it's worth the time involved. I just wanted to know that the time I was investing in my car's finish was spent using the best product out there or at least one that gives the best possible results, hence the comparison.

4 Steps. It ain't so bad either, considering the ease in which it applies.

Can't tell in the pics so I guess we will have to wait till May 2002 and have our "shootout" in person. I think we should do this comarision on someones car that needs the wax, trust me after being there on Welcoming Day this year theres alot of peoples car that needs it shocked I say that we take our hand picked car and each do a fender and then let everyone vote on it! I'll bring the Mequiars and one of you bring the Zaino wink

Reason I thought the pics were taken in different light. Is on One pic you see a different car in the background and in the other pic of the other car you see the Other SVT, Therefore you weren't in the "same spot"

We were one parking spot apart, so when I took the one of Antonio's car I was between the two, so mine is in the reflection. When I shot mine the car next to me was in the reflection. It's the same light on the same side of the car from the same distance in all of the pictures. Hope that clears it up.
