Exactly. And I don't think this happened because "God is angry at us." I suppose its possible but I really don't know. Nor am I too sure about why a loving and all powerful God allows things like hurricanes, earthquakes and tsunamis to occur. Its hard for me to accept that God has unleashed His "wrath" on us for being wicked and sinful.
I'll say it again though. It was sinful to not be as prepared for Katrina as we should have been, and to not have had better forsight to prevent it. And in a sense "sinful" also could simply mean, "its a shame" what happened. If you want to think of it that way.
