Don't you think that it might be relelvant that this article was from 1994. It might as well have been from 1894 given all the research and studies that have been performed and data gathered over the last 10 years.

And just for the record, John A. Baden, is founder and chairman of the Foundation for Research on Economics and the Environment--an organization funded by corporations including:

American Chemistry Council
ExxonMobil
General Electric
General Motors
Merck and
Shell

Naybe, just maybe,these guys were not interested in funding unbiased research in this issue.
