that's interesting, but i would think that it'd block out a majority of the light output, wouldn't it?

That's just kinda creepy.

This may be sick, but the kid of a family friend had eye problems as a kid and had to have his eyes ummm... permanently closed. That car totally reminds me of him... *shiver*

Personally, all of this body color matching to me just is not my bag. To everyone out there who likes it, I am by no means ripping on you... this post reflects my own personal tastes. I like the accents on the car.... the chrome oval, the chrome strip in back, the way the headlights just kinda glare at you. Now, I have been thinking about tinting the rear lights and putting tinted GTS covers on the front lights, but I dont know if I would go so far as to blend all the body parts together like this into one color.... to me, the more accents that the car has, the more detailed and defined the car looks, and the less it looks like the paint shop ran out of masking tape and decided to shoot what was left in the body color while painting the car. By NO means am I suggesting that the people who do this kind of mod are careless, sloppy, or don't take care of their cars.... I know a LOT of time is taken in the detail and care of a lot of the cars here on this board, and I commend every one of you guys who maintains their car and achieves the high shine I see in so many of the pictures.... this just goes against my personal tastes. However, if you like it, that's cool with me... just putting in my 2 cents worth.

It does block out the light which is why I put in the super bright PIAA's. They light up the road enough that I dont have to remove them. I also did the driving light mod so I can use the driving lights without the headlights on.

it didnt sound like it would look good, but i like it a lot. it gives it kind of an evil smoothe look. i painted my actual headlight lens 2 years ago but left openings for the lights. you can see em on my page... http://www.onall4scarclub.com/president.htm

i noticed you said something bout drinking above... do yourself a favor, and us... dont drink and drive bro.

Dad always thought laughter was the best medicine, which I guess is why several of us died of tuberculosis.
