Okay well i guess I kinda got this started in my other thread, but I might as well make it offical. Let's get a meet going. I'm down for one this weekend. . .there are only two issues. I don't know if my glass will be in, and I put the alarm on order today and it shipped today, so I'm guessing it will be in on Saturday. So I'm thinking the weekend of the 17th could be the best bet. What's everyone think? I'll keep an update on my packages so we could possibly do it this weekend.

The weekend of the 17th would be good for me. Even better would be the week after that. But whatever everyone else decides is ok.

Yeah it's looking like the 17th is gonna be best for me cause my glass still hasn't gotten here. Anything after that could be iffy as far as my energy level cause track will have started and weekends will be strictly for sleeping in and getting rested up for the next week of torture.

So is this going to be a meet/install? If so we will have to do it at my pad, but that is cool, then my wife won't complane that I'm not spending time with her.

Either way, I have some tools and we could do it at my place. I mean for the alarm all you really need is the basics, most importantly wire strippers and nuts right?

That's sexist. Women can install alarm systems just as competantly as men, and they don't have nuts.
Sept. 17th, eh? I don't think I have anything going on then. I think it's better than this weekend, too.

We can do it where ever. I can load my tools into my car too. It would be better off base at someoone elses house so we don't have to go through the hassle of the getting everyone on base.

Location really doesnt matter to me. Just let me know what I should bring. I have some electrical tools and wire sitting around. I dont have any crimp connectors, however, and my soldering iron is pretty much done for. I have plenty of electrical tape!

I thought that would get a comment. . .it was a little late when I wrote that too. Strippers will help get the work done. . .the more hands the better.
UPDATE: Only thing is the stupid hurricane. The place that I ordered my windows from is in SC and the parts somehow made it to Mississippi and are stuck here indefinantly. It's kinda wierd because I called UPS and looked at the tracking info and the package made it to MS on the Sept. 2(after the hurricane) and now it is stuck there. So I'm like how does can package make it into Mississippi and not make it back out? Is there some new technology that planes can just drop the package and it goes straight into the plant? I mean shiat we are talking about auto parts here people drive the wrong way on the road and get those parts back out. So I will keep you guys updated, but we DEFINANTLY need to have a meet, I also have a few mods planned(ie paint the headlights JDM style) while my car is out of commishion so hopefully I will find the time to do those.

Thats not cool. Who knows when you're gonna get it now. What year is the car? If you can cancel the order, this might be a option to get it quicker. There is a salvage yard on the south end of 'burque that is super cheap. They only deal with cars 10 years or older though
