I'm not buying into the whole "Zaino doesn't work on silver cars" line. I Zaino'd my mom's champaigne colored (a little lighter color than the champaigne on Contours) Buick over the weekend. It had Meguiar's Gold Class on it at first, but I figured I'd try Zaino and see how it works, to see if the light colored car stuff was true.

100% not true. The shine was waaaay better. The car looked as good, or better, as it did the day it came off the lot. The metallic chips in the paint really shine, and it has an almost mirror finish to it.

I could tell by my mom's impression over the phone that she liked it better than the Meguiar's that I did a month ago. She went on and on about how good it looked, but she didn't say nearly as much about the Meguiar's. She couldn't tell you the difference between wax and polish, but she can look and see which looks better.
