I have these fenders one the brink of becoming reality.

What needs to happen to get them made is 25 pre-orders direct to aerogear with a $100 deposit. Price on the fenders will be $299 plus shipping (approx $50 anywhere in the continental US)

If this does happen where the quota is met Aerogear will make the prototype and then send the pair to their facility in Japan to have the mold created and will have them available for sale in 8 weeks.

If the z3 fenders sell well to the contour market they will then look at producing a hood and possibly a body kit.

This is the chance for the contour market to finally get some aftermarket support so the better the fenders sell the better chance of seeing future products made for the vehicle.

fiberglass oem replacements with the z3 gills and are gelcoated baby blue ready to paint and install on the car.

Questions: What are they made out of? How are they put on? Do they replace that whole panel? If so, and they are made out of fiberglass, seems to me that it would feel kind of cheap. I mean, it's metal now, correct?

Still, I love Z3 gills! Don't know about spending $300 for 'em though . . .

quality is excellent and they are never going to rust or end up with a dent from an errant shopping cart. my car is fiberglass from the windshield forward and will be doing aerogear's soon to be released cougar widebody kit along with an all carbon fiber predator hood.

alot of companies making fiberglass parts send you a product with alot of prep wprk required. these are gel coated and ready for paint.

Ok if I can get the funds I am extremely interested. I will email you once I am getting the funds for sure. Couple questions though. If we don't get 25 orders, do we get deposit back? Also have the same questions as Kai. Thanks for all the help on this.

deposit would be refunded by Aerogear if quota is not met, I addressed Kai's questions in my previous post

so it does replace the whole panel?

yes FULL fender replacements. Install consists of about 8 bolts and a few clips.
