Comes from the front of the car, seems to be the front right. Hard stops, and turning does it. It's a CLUNKing sound that lasts for maybe a second...any ideas? Thanks!

Sway bar Linkage. They go bad after so many miles. I need to replace one of my front ones as well. Try to isolate which linkage it is by listening closely. I would strongly suggest you just replace both of them.

Andy W. The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

Doesn't matter who's been here how long.

FAQ are written to address common issues in a timely fashion. Personally I feel more satisfied when I've researched an issue and ask an educated question not covered, rather than joining the ignorant masses and being walked step by step thru what should be a simple diagnosis like a three year. Sorry if you don't like that I encourage self reliance over kindergarden repetition.
