For the coolant issue, don't waste time changing the bottle. I would suggest checking the connector and wiring for the connector. Also try increasing the coolant strengh (a $5 coolant tester from Autozone should help). IIRC from the owners manual, we can go up to 60 coolant/40 water mix.
