What is a fossil? It's a second-hand source. How do you know that fossils came from animals? Did you see the animals, and then watch as their fossils were made after they died? No, you didn't. You believe that fossils represent animals that lived a long time ago.



I believe that when you put all of these fossils together to build an animal time and time again that has NO recorded history, be it cave paintings or written eye witness accounts, it's obvious they were around before humans. There's a reason fossils are on display in every major museum of natural history. Or are you saying that some fruitcake has managed to bury these bones of other animals around the world just to make a giant joke?

Are you trying to argue that the theory of evolution is simpler than believing in God? You and others like you constantly talk the simple-mindedness of people with faith, yet here you're saying their views are more complex. I'm confused.



The simpler ANSWER is the choice presented. Not the simpler theory.

There is no empirical evidence of God. It's that simple. There is no empirical evidence of Jesus. None of Moses, none of the Ten Commandment tablets, Noah's Ark, or the Ark of the Covenant, the Holy Grail. None of it. Humans and DNA are proven fact. Evolution is FAR closer to being proven on any scale. You only have to look at humankind as proof of evolution. And I'm not talking being descended from apes. Just in our OWN existence. From the first recorded human all the way to us. WE have changed. Even in the last few hundred years we have different features. Our appendix does nothing because we learned how to create fire.
