I'm inclined to believe scientists who can prove, at least to SOME degree, that evolution does exist. From caveman to present, WE have evolved over hundreds of thousands of years. Proof? Genetics. How many breeds of dogs are there now that didn't exist 5, 10, 15, 100 years ago? Pitbulls were bred to resist pain. They had to EVOLVE. You cannot prove god's existence any more than I can disprove it. But it's a LOT easier to believe that god does NOT exist when so many things are explainable by opening your eyes.
The faithful look at a sunset and say "that's God's work," when I look at a sunset and say "wow, it's amazing that a combination of gases combined with just the right angle can cause light to be colored in such a way."
I find it incredibly hard to believe that god is NOT a manmade concept. I just do. Why? Because man has been seeking a way to explain things that they could not see with their eyes since the dawn of time.
Until someone finds the true Garden of Eden, shows me the Egyptian soldiers' armor and chariots under the Red Sea, until Noah's ark comes floating by my house, I'll be happy where I am. Doubting Thomas? Perhaps. I'm open to being proven wrong. I just don't think it's going to happen.
I believe in fate, I believe in karma. But I don't believe in the Christian/Catholic/Jewish/Muslim concept of God.
And, for those that are unaware- Muhammed believed they were all the same god. Just throwing that out there.
