at the time the bible was written it was written the best way it could have been with the understanding the people had at present time. now that our understanding of our place in the universe has grown it should be rewritten. at least have a better interpretation....but to think that the bible is the be all end all of our history is silly..even my pastor says so..i do not believe the earth was created in 7 days...however i can believe that the earth was created in what God would consider is 7 days....ie: could be millions of earth years....so i believe it isnt far from the truth that evolutionism and creationism is one and the same...just different interpretation....
