Warmonger you could not have said it better. I know a tree cutting business that stoped everything they had going and sent all of there equipement down there last wednesday. I talked to them today and they have still done nothing. htey have been down there for 4 days and they have yet to receive orders on what to do and where to go. And Now the mayor is sending all the first responding police on an all expenses paid vacation to vegas while guys from my city are down there with nothing to do trying to make the best of this situation. What a buch of crap. the national gaurd needs to hunt down the mayor and shoot him. I heard people today bashing on the national gaurd for shooting people in the superdome. one guy was shot in the head after raping a 14 year old girl. GOOD! I am personaly very put back at the way this whole thing has been handeled. My boss today even got upset becuase he heard that gov Granholm invted 10,000 refugies to come stay in Grand Rapids For a few months while there homes are gone. I say that is the first good thing she has done as governor. I am proud to live in a city that wants to help the victims of this horrible tragedy.
