I think we are taking about something different Stazi. Although i am venting to the atmosohere with an HKS SS. NO problems. What i was saying was my 02 Housing. Which i mean by my stock 02 housing is a pipe from the wastegate routing into the exhaust downpipe. But my new 02 housing will not route the pipe from the wastegate into the exhaust but to the atmosphere. So pretty much from the wastegate straight down to the ground and out into the shpere.

But maybe we are talkin about the same thing.

Stazi was talking about the BOV, but from what I've seen some have a problem Venting, others there is no stumble at all. Crankwalk in these cars is preventable by running a good synthetic oil and not overdoing it on mileage between changes. The 6 bolt block had a different type of oil squiter, the 7 bolt mitsu changed the design of them and they are prone to getting clogged. Once clogged crankwalk slowly occurs, it's more in depth than that but...

Good article about it HERE http://www.magnusmotorsports.com/crankwalktheory.htm

Good luck with it man, I miss my gsx, thing rocked in the snow.

I'm actually in the process of selling my SVT right now , and I'm considering a 97-99 GSX or GS-T, but after reading about the crankwalk issues, I think I might stay away from them. I can't decide.

Right now my top choices are 02-03 Maxima SE with 6 speed or 97-99 GSX or GS-T 5 speed.

Actually the squirters stick open and lower the mains oil pressure too much.

I ritually flushed the engine EVERY oil change with Gunk Engine Flush, but to no avail after 2 years she started to show sign of crankwalk - long slivers of metal in the drained oil - which I would check for every oil change. I was heart-broken I loved that car it was sic-fast.
