For all you poor chumps that couldn't make it was pretty wicked. At one point some Porsche's took the track and were beating us ruthlessly about the head and shoulders.
Oh, and Buckshot's car broke again but he has it under control. Had to be towed off the track though.

He dropped his SVT engine in the car so he could come to SZ and now something is wrong with his driveshaft or something like that.

Gingerman was awesome. The adrenaline rush was incredible. I passed 4 Contour and 1 red ugly Brit car each time in the Intermediate/Advanced group. I have brake dust 24 inches long and 6 inches wide on the rear driver quarter panel. Brake fade after 12 laps was a problem. Tires give up real easy too. I was four wheel drifting, no understeer. Thanks Aussie bar. All this in an non-SVT. 100 mph+ on two long streches. Woohoo I am addicted, AutoX doesn't compare. Track racing rulz. A harness is a must.

There were around 40 cars all total, not all of them ran but just about everyone had a passenger. Here are some early pics...more certain to follow! Here's a shot of me in the 89 coming off turn 3...if my new clutch wasn't broke in before, it sure is now Here's a 1.0MB MPEG, coming off turn 11 down the main straight. Cars were hitting 80-90 around the camera position. http://stadiummotors.bizhosting.com/pics/sz02/shos1.mpg There were a LOT of cameras here...and I mean A LOT. SZ02 video should be awesome! 3 casualities already...one supercharged SHO caught on fire thanks to a busted brake line...no severe damage thankfully. One 96 SHO blew a transmission on-track but it's under warranty And buckshot goofed a half-shaft...never the less everyone had a BLAST!

He will need a new half-shaft, the splines on the driver's side were gone. Terry will bring him one tomorrow.
