Thanks warmonger
Ok got them in, they are working fine. I had my AFC pulling an average of about 19% fuel accross the board with the 24 lb injectors. When I started the car with the 19 lb injectors and tried to rev it, the car would not even have enough fuel to build up the rpms smoothly. This was with the AFC still pulling 19%. So I put the AFC back to zero and the car ran normal. When I drove the car, it felt smoother.
I now have wide throttle setting set to pull between 8% down low to around 14% after 4k rpm and around 12% near redline. I was expecting to have to bump the fuel up in the upper rpm band? With the 24s it was set to pull 19% up to when the secondaries open then I had it pulling around 8% then back up to around 19% until around 5500 rpm where it was pulling 24%.
Narrow throttle on the 19s is set to pull around 3-5% accross the board. Narrow throttle with the 24s was -19%.
I guess I am overall surprised how different the fuel curve has to be just because I installed different injectors. It's like they have their own unique characteristics at different rpms. Still have some fiddling to do but I can say the car feels better and it seem less fuel is going to waste, especially at idle. Can anyone explain why different injectors respond different, or am I missing something?
Something to note if you drop 24s into your car with no tuning the car will barely run and the car will be way out of tune. Dropping in 19s with no tune and your car will run pretty decent, not too far out of tune.
