Hi,

I have put about 5000 KM on my 96 Mystique with a 2001 3.0L in it. It's running decent, I have not chipped it, just running a VAFC. It has 24 lb injectors now. My friend just gave me a set of Orange injectors from a 2004 Towncar with about 3K on them. I beleive they are 19 lb injectors. Assuming you were on a budget and don't plan on putting a chip in any time soon, would it be wise to run the Towncar injectors? I have the plugs to get them going, is there any reason why they won't work in my car? I am getting a full 2.5" exhaust on Wednesday, and getting the Y-Pipe optimized. Going to gut the headers aswell. I have the car running pretty good with just a VAFC, I am thinking I can have it dialed in nearly perfect with 19 lb injectors.

I am doing everything on a budget with this car and it's turning out to be an awesome "bang for the buck" car.

Oh and one more question, I picked up a Magnaflow 11226 muffler, the same as the trubendz kit. I showed a picture of the Trubendz exhaust to the place I am getting the exhaust done at and they said they wouldn't put the muffler so close to the front of the car as it will burn out fast. Would it make a major difference in sound to have it near the back? I am also going to go with a single 2.5" exhaust as I don't think a dual will net much more power. Going to paint it black and run no tip. Keep it "sleeper"
