autox fil... you have to consider tire weight not just rim weight and mass.
The mass of the tires in some cases is MORE than the wheels themselves.
I noticed this when switching from 16" Rota Grids (14.5 lb wheels) to Centerline RPM 19" (15.5 lb wheel)
the Centerlines dispite being a lb heavier in the rim are actually Signifcantly lighter than the 16" Rotas.
The Sidewall difference between the 16" and 19" wheel is HUGE! and that sidewall difference ADDS alot of weight in the Outermass of the wheel/tire assembly. The rim itself is significally lighter overall than the tire.
Additionally I tested my observations on the 1/4. Gained and avg of 2mph and .2 seconds running on the 19" wheels vs the 16" wheels. Dispite similar 60ft. These where taken using an average of about 10-15 runs with each setup.
