I'd get the A95. My sister bought one as per my recomendation and it is a nice camera. Not as nice as my rebel XT though.

Thanks... this camera is not for me. I have a Maxxum 7D I am totally happy with. It's a wedding present for my best friend and her new husband.

I don't really care for the Canon SD400. It's too small and miniturized to be usable, and everything I read indicates subpar image quality. They want a camera with a nice grip.

The new Canon A610 looks better than the A95, as it has more zoom and a larger LCD (size does matter, I'm hooked on my 2.5" display).

I just wish one of them offered image stabilization, which is the Panasonic's key advantage (another feature I adore on my Maxxum).
