Went to bed last night, gas was at 107.4 a litre. Woke up this morning, went to work gas was at 115.1 a litre. Figured the worst was over but..... noooooooooo. As of 7:00pm gas is now 134.9 a litre. I understand the problem in the south, but why did Americian gas only go up .15 a gallon, and here which is another country all together get dinged so much?

I went to bed last night and my local station was 97.9
Woke up and they were up at 119.5
Currently they're at 119.5 for 87 octane.
Glad I filled up with 91 on Monday night for 1.06/lt
What will blow your mind even more, is that the problems in New Orleans won't hit us until next month.
You've also been brain washed. 2 months ago you were looking for gas at .75/lt now your lining up for 97.5/lt.
The gas companies are reaping the benifits early.
We're just screwed until the government steps in, which will never happen.
What I'm waiting for, is for the Feds to say they need to raise taxes in order to cover the fuel costs of the Fed vehicles.
Then there will be a seige on parliment in Ottawa.

There seems to be a large range in prices for gas in Montreal. I live in Vaudreuil, there's a large truck stop that sells gas to cars as well. The price of a liter was 1.059 last time I check (last night) that's when gas prices on the island where around 1.349 per liter. It seems that "The Flying J" moves it's prices at the same rate as the US. (It is an american company)
I guess Vaudreuil as become what the south shore ised to be a few years ago...

i got lucky i filled up in welland for about 97.3 last night the falls was at 100.9 to about 101.5. Today most of the gas stations jumped to 113.5 and there even was a few 126.7(but the gas stations that charge 126 are usualy gougers anyway so it go with the terf)Personaly i think there jumping it up because of the holiday and using the storm as a excuse to do so. I can't complain to much the fuel economy of my mystique is great. My previous car (a 1990 Z24 cavalier 3.1) use to plow threw a tank in 4-5 days(if lucky) this one i can go a week or longer

They raised the prices in trois-rivieres too yesterday but i was able to fill up before it, while i was paying the gaz stop guy was called n i saw him writing the new price on a paper. Actually im should feel quite lucky since this guy remove me 5cent of the premium when im paying cash (i need to keep it quiet hehe) so i got my full tank of premium at 1.074$/liter

it just hit here today 1.34 a liter for regular.in the span of 24hours it went from 101.9 to 119.3 to 127.3 and then to 134.7 it went from 119.3 to 134.7 in the matter of 6 houyrs here in the falls
