There seems to be a large range in prices for gas in Montreal. I live in Vaudreuil, there's a large truck stop that sells gas to cars as well. The price of a liter was 1.059 last time I check (last night) that's when gas prices on the island where around 1.349 per liter. It seems that "The Flying J" moves it's prices at the same rate as the US. (It is an american company)
I guess Vaudreuil as become what the south shore ised to be a few years ago...
