Gas in MY area went up 40-45 cents in the last day . This SUCKS !! I'm glad as hell I filled up the SVT last weekend (not my daily driver) . Too bad it won't last me very long once I fire that sucker up & aim it south a week from now . Only about 5 1/2 hours . I'll probably blow through about $200 in fuel in 7 days , maybe (probably) more . I'm getting friggin' depressed . I'm glad my Jettas get 30+ mpg back & forth to work , the SVT sure wouldn't . I still don't like going to the pumps & getting anally gang-raped by the fuel companies . Maybe the prices will eventually come down a bit , but they sure as hell won't put them down even close to where they were . They know soccer moms in their SUVs will pay whatever the pumps say , just as long as they can still gas-ass around with no rhyme or reason whatsoever . Combine trips ??? fuel efficient vehicle ??? BAH !! We'll soon have to factor-in Vaseline costs into our fuel costs when buying/running a vehicle . It's just friggin' rediculous !!
