I got up this morning early and went to the gas station to top off before going to class and gas was $2.77/gal for regular at Walmart without my .03c discount for having a gift card. Even then, a mere quarter tank was $17.50.
So later on after my 1100 class that got out at 1150, I went with a friend to fill up her truck and gas was at $2.83/gal. For regular, I might add.
Earlier this evening, I went with my girlfriend to the mall and there were lines out the ass at the corner station because of this whole epidemic that the stations around here will be shutting down until next Monday. I think it's hoopla, but she bought into it and forced me to sit in the line for an hour to top her tank off. Gas then was $2.99/gal.
It essentially went up .22c in the amount of time it took me to go to college and come back home to eat dinner.
