Just curious if anyone else has came across this... Whenver its very wet outside my engine sounds like an old fashioned fire truck. Mainly when i just start it up or when i drive through standing water in the road. Anyone else have this problem? Also is it anything to be concerned with?

What year and mileage? May be good to put that in your signature.

It could be the serpentine belt. Check to see if it is frayed. Might want to change it if it hasn't been changed in four years or so.

It rained yesterday and it sounded like one of my belts was squeaking. I'm just glad it only happens when it rains alot.

There is a splash shield kit that you can buy from ford. This will solve your problem.

Cool, what does the splash shield look like? I was in an accident and they replaced alot of stuff up front and I think where the stock air damn was they put in some kind of black shield that is almost flush with the underbody. Could this be it?

That is the lower radiator deflector.
