You guys MUST be pretty young. The N word actually means SOMEONE WHO IS IGNORANT. It's morons who turned it into the racial slander it's used as now. Used to be you'd look up that word in the dictionary, and it would actually define it as ONE WHO IS IGNORANT, but since it's used so widely as a racial slur, that original definition is no longer printed in the dictionary.
