I agreed w/ you b/c I saw what you were saying, honestly it took me 2 or 3 posts to see it though. That tells me that its more in your perception, you could be right or like others have said it could be 2 different reporters PERSONAL view of things.
I grew up in a town full of racial tension, I've seen racism 1st hand, and I'm not saying its you Mr. Wright, but most black people that run around spouting conspiracy theories against "The Man" have never really witnessed any form of racism! I know this b/c I have black & white friends(2 cards at once) I also had an interracial family member growing up, so it was a little hard to just pick a side!
My point is that there are some racist bastards still out there, from all races mind you, but the truth is they really have no more power than you give them!

Now, I am spouting conspiracy theories? Call it what you want. I am just letting people know that racism does exist and I will continue to show it to world, whenever I see it affect a dominant-minority group.
