while i do agree with you that racism is a problem in this country,i don't really see this as being the same...just my opinion though..

actually no the reason i say she may have found it is because if you look at the picture then there is all kinds of other things floating in the water where she is walking at...

and you say its sad to think the way that i do...i am not the one getting all bent out of shape over a couple of news pics....but yeah i guess that's because i'm a racist too...  yeah that's why most of my closest friends are black....and one of my best friends from nashville(who is also black)just left here after spending the weekend and staying at my house with my family,but yeah i guess because i'm racist...
personally i think its sad that someone would see a couple of news stories and scream racism

The fact of the matter is, that all three pictures showed people doing the same thing, yet they were worded completely differently.

But they are looting! Are you watching the news? They showed 3 minutes of video of people looting (to stay on topic, not a single person they showed was white). There was even a police officer shot by a looter. I don't know anything that more meets the definition of looting. They were breaking down doors and windows and systematically stealing anything they can get their hands on!

i agree about the looting...it's stupid and wrong.
However...the bread thing doesn't compare. What other reason would you steal a loaf of bread other than you're hungry?? There's no reason for people to starve...enough people have already died.

But you dont know she was looting. Finding a loaf of bread isnt necessisarily looting. We can assume that that guy didnt just find the bucket of beer.
Chances are somebody who was looting abandoned the bread they stole to steal something more valuable.
