Hey CEG..
Was thinking.. instead of trading in games at GameStop or the such and get next to nothing for them.. we could trade between CEG members. We could use the GameStop website's price for used games to keep things fair (unless agreed on by the traders). I checked the USPS site and a 1 pound or less media mail could cost approx $1.50 (calculated by CA to NY on their little rate thing).
Would there be interest in this?

Might not be a bad idea... Media mail goes by weight, not destination. Of course, it's slow as hell, but whatever. How many other people think this might be a good idea?

eh...sure as long as you don't mine getting them on cdr's.
There's no need for media mailers, back when I used to trade I stuck the discs in those paper envelopes for cd's and just stuck em' all in a manilla envelope (no padding etc.). I mean $1.50 ain't bad, but it adds up when you do it every day.

i could see how it would work if someone wanted to get ridda their games but didnt wanna get raped by gamestops horrible offerings.
i probably wouldnt be all-for the trading, but if someone wanted to get rid of some games, i wouldnt mind offering a better price than gamestop does. Both people would make out fairly in that kind of deal.

Glad there is some interest and new ideas thrown out.
Any other interested members out there?
What about getting a CEG group on Xbox Live? Maybe make a weekly "meet" on there?
Any more gaming ideas?

Solicitation, trade or purchase of digital media, in any format, will not be tolerated on this website in any means. Those wishing to conduct the sale, trade, or purchase of legally aquired media (not copies, etc) may do so on their own time, and within their own means of communication, but not within this forum. You guys are more than welcome to contact each other through another communications means, and set up whatever sales/trades/purcases you would like. CEG shouldn't condone the potential profitability of pirated/copied media. That would mean that this is the end of this topic.. Ray
