Instead of putting in clear or blue turn signal bulbs and risk getting harassed by the police, try this. I took the amber bulb and put a very light coat of silver spraypaint on them. I put everything back together and haven't had any problems in over a year. I though the paint might flake off from the heat, but they still look perfect! Plus they are still amber when they light up! A little less bright, but not by much! Tell me what you think!
