That is good information. I didn't realize that the car would run with the MAF disconnected but I recently read another post where someone removed the entire air box and rubber plenum and ran the car like that (for troubleshooting purposes). I certainly didn't realize the car would run like that. What does the PCM do, go into open-loop mode?
