oh the memories. my front right tire did that in the middle of a 15mph left hand turn. all of a sudden that corner drops and i see my wheel roll up onto the curb i yell wtf? my fender wasn't quite so bad though.
Almost had that happen to me... was in the middle of South Dakota and the car started vibrating really bad. Thought it was the road (looked like a washboard), but was still happening when the road smoothed. So I take the next exit and pull into the gas station (closed) to check it out. 2 lugs sheared off.
