Does anyone know what kind of a difference iridium spark plugs make? My dad suggested it as a cheap, yet effective mod for my csvt, and i was just wondering if anyone knows anything about them.

I have them in my Talon and they work great, but contours are a picky car and they seem to only really like the autolite/motocraft. If you try other ones it is a big hit or miss if your car will like them. If you want to try them go for it and tell us if it works, but don't yell at me if the car starts missing....cause my fragile ego won't be able to take it.

I use them onmy Turbo SVT.

I use NGK TR55IX's

If you really want to look into Iridium Fine Wire spark plugs, Autolite has just introduced one that looks promising. It has a platinum side wire and Iridium enhanced center fine wire.

It looks like the part number for our cars is XP104.

I'm still not sure that it is worth it though, since they seem to sell for $6.50 each and up.

The APP764 double platinum works great for me.
