That's where mine is installed. Makes for a simple and clean oil change.
Pics?
I'll see what pix I can get this weekend.

How exactly does the Ford Racing kit differ from the Summit Racing kit ... other than costing twice as much AND being on backorder

The summit racing kit doesnt look like it has the extra connections that allow you to hook up oil temp and stuff like that. Though for half the price and no backorder I could deal. . . .
On another note, are oil pressure readings at the filter (especially remote mount) better than in the head? I would be willing to do some moving and re-wiring if so. . . especially if I dont have to deal with the A/C compressor while doing so!
EDIT: Im assuming you are talking about the first choice on the page from the link provided. Here
Well, it seems that you cannot link directly to the product. This is what Im talking about:
SUM G4985

After re-reading all of the posts I didnt see any accuracy comparisons between installing oil press. on the remote filter or in the head. I knew it was possible to mount oil press. in the remote filter, but is it better or worse than other locations.
Im assuming that oil flows from the pan-->filter-->block, which would probably make the remote filter a better location than the heads for oil press.

The head is the worst place for oil pressure. It needs to be off the oil galley off the black behind the a/c comp. or off of a remote filter housing.

See this thread for excellent information on oil pressure sensor locations. The head is probably the worse spot. Putting it in the line of the oil filter puts it in the flow, probably the most accurate spot possible.
