i dunno

Sounds like hes a wuss to me.
When I purcahsed my MSP I spent over 10 hours at the dealer and in return for that and just being stubburn on pricing etc I was able to make them drop their price over 4 k and raise my trade in price 2 k and get pizza and drinks two times and all my added on stuff from the MR2.

Perserverence pays off.

Ok, forget for a moment about his stupidity, but what about this seat problem? I'm 6'2" and I have slight back problems too. This is a known issue and they've done nothing in 3 years to fix it? Seems like Blake was right, Infiniti sucks!

I'm a member on that forum (check my current ride) and I recall when that thread started. I read the first, long entry and thought, what a whiner. He made deals he later regretted and got pushed around by every single classic car dealer scam. Too bad for him. I stopped reading after that, too many cool threads on which set of angel eyes is the best

As for the seat, that's why you take long test drives before you buy. Spend an hour with a book or an ipod in the showroom sitting in the seat. If the seat doesn't fit you don't buy it! If he didn't do his homework too bad.

I don't think I've ever spent an hour in a car before buying it, and I've bought ALOT of cars over the years.. 2 of which you couldn't even drive before ordering, because they were so scarce at the time.

I'm not disagreeing that he made horrible decisions every step of the way, but wow! He probably would have been better off taking the deal BMW offered, instead of driving his old POS $7K poorer.

Hows that 996 TT X50 treating ya

Every car under $100K is test-drivable, they may need to run your credit first or you must show the ability to buy the car by bringing a bank statement or a few months of payroll stubs but if your serious and the dealer thinks they have a sale you can test drive. And I've test driven a lot of cars in my day using the above method

F*cktard.. Try test driving a 94 Mustang GT in December 1993. Wasn't going to happen. Try test driving a Boxster in 1998, when there was a 6-9 month waiting list? (I ended up test driving a used one someone was privately selling before ordering mine)

Hell, I didn't even put my name down on the Elise when it was first announced because I wasn't sure I'd be able to fit in there comfortably. Went to the NY Auto Show a few years back to see it, and realized it wasn't going to work.

I had a G35c, never had a problem with the seat. Actually thought they were comfy, side bolsters could have been better though. I am 6'3 no back problems, had the car a year...I think the guy lacked a back bone to start with though

After the "my third mistake", I realized a jellyfish has more of a backbone than this idiot did. I did get into a similar situation with a dealer, however, in that they tried screwing me out of my trade-in value and equipement I had in the trade-in.

To make a long story short, when I traded in my MINT 93 Notchback 5.0L for a then brand-new 1995 Probe GT (yeah, sounds like a downgrade until you try driving a 300+ HP car with a B&M Transpak and 3.73 gears in the snow)I was promised (in writing) that I could remove the Eclipse/Bazooka system I had in the Notch after it was traded in(I had been called in to work the day of the "deal"). Not only did they refuse to give me the system, but they threw me out of the dealership as well after I flipped out on the sales manager....at least the cops were cool about it when they "escorted" me out of the showroom(one of them told me they were there on a weekly basis for angry customers). About a month after this (and speaking to the Attorney General's office) the dealership was closed by Ford....no reason given. I guess I wasn't the only disgruntled customer.
