after doing some searching into induction kits i notice that most of u use a K&N's Universal Air Filters ru-3530 cone http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=ru-3530, and a maf adapter and heat shield and air feed, what is the diffrence between using a K&N 57i kit and heat shield to using the ru 3530 and heat shield.

is the ru3530 a large a cone to the standard 57i

It's larger, and large enough. Listen - it seems like you're looking for reasons to discredit the tried and proven "CEG intake". So if you want to buy the K&N 57i kit, buy it and quit faffing around and wasting bandwidth. Don't complain when you get it, and it's basically no different to what you can buy for half the price.

what i want to get the ru3530 and the maf adapter with a heat shield i was just wondering what the diffrence between the two was, i know that the 57i was more expensive, and i was not going to get it.

Basically it means effing around - but stated in a way that a POM would understand it.

Stazi are u taking the piss out of me this is the second topic that i have opened a topic where you have been rued to me jst because i dont know as much about cars as you there is no need to be as rued as you have been, us brits dont like the piss being taken out of us and im not happy at all.

Easy fella. What kinda POM are you if you get all fired p and not even throw an insult back?

Fact of the matter is that you:
a) posted a topic that's already been covered (K&N 57i kit)
b) came across as defiant, even after the differences, pro's/con's were explained to you
c) got bent out of shape over nothing.
